Workshops

The Goal of the Midwifery Assistant Certificate Workshop is to prepare the student to assist the Midwife.


Midwifery assistant workshops are separate and independent of the AASM Program.


Current Dates dates - May 5-16, 2025

Fees and Tuition 

Application Fee $100.00

Tuition $3,000.00

Food and Dorm Packages are available at an additional fee 


Additional Requirements for a Midwifery Assistant Workshop Certificate  


Students interested in receiving the Tennessee Higher Education Commission approved Certificate will also need to complete the following requirements-


·  Clinical Experiences – Students will need to complete Observations for Prenatal, Birth, Newborn Exam, and Postpartum. Observations can be signed off by any witness also in attendance of the clinical experience. Students have one year from the date of Enrollment to complete Clinical Experiences 


·  Students must pass the Midwifery Assistant Certificate Exam given on the last day of the Workshop


·  Students must complete a Second Skills Checkoff administered by CTM Faculty during the Two Week Midwifery Assistant Certificate Workshop
